靖國神社の遊就館へ行ってまいりました。
国のために命を捧げた英霊の遺書などを見て、平和のお大切さを胸に刻んできました。
戦闘機で敵艦に体当たりしたり、人間魚雷などといった事は2度とあってはなりません。
しかしながら過去において1度でもやってしまった事を、その国の今を生きる国民としてしっかり受け止め、平和の襷を新しい世代へ繋いでいく事のお大切さも感じました。
それが英霊の皆様へのお弔いになると思いました。
今年は知覧特攻平和会館、靖國神社遊就館を見学できた事に感謝しております。
I went to the Yushukan Museum of Yasukuni Shrine.
When I saw the suicide notes of the heroic spirits who gave their lives for the country, I have engraved the importance of peace in my heart.
There should never be a time when a fighter jet rams an enemy ship or a human torpedo is allowed to do so again.
However, I also felt that it is important for us people living today to take seriously what we have done even once in the past, and to pass on the burden of peace to the new generation.
I thought that would be the least I could do to pay our respects to the Heroic Spirits.
I am grateful that I was able to visit the Chiran Peace Museum and Yushukan Museum this year.
