November 23rd is “Niiname festival in Japan 🇯🇵
And, I had visited Ejima sugiyama shrine in Ryougoku related acupuncture.
I received the special red stamp “Gosyuin” of Waichi Sugiyama.
The Niiname festival means the event to thank god for the harvest and offer new grains to god and wish for a rich harvest next year.
Waichi Sugiyama was a acupuncture teacher in Edo era.
He left with great achievements.
He devised Japanese style acupuncture and established a school to teach acupuncture and massage to people with visual impaired.
He also treated and recovered the fifth Shogun “Tsunayoshi Tokugawa.
Japanese style acupuncture has been passed down from generation to generation since Edo era.
