富山の市街地へ戻り11時頃になると晴天だったのが一気に雪に。
この後、NH1181 で新千歳へ行く予定でしたが不安になってきました。
富山きときと空港に着くとチェックインできたので出発できるのかなと少し安堵しました。
雪は降り続いていましたが11:45発の東京行きはほぼ定刻通りに出発。
私が乗る便も12:54に搭乗開始のアナウンスがありました。
「大寒波到来で欠航になるかもしれない」と思っていたのが「こんなに予定通りいくのはなんてラッキーなんだろう」と思っていました。
ところが僅か数分後に「滑走路積雪のため出発時刻未定」のアナウンスがありました。
再び「マジか？欠航か？」と不安がよぎり始めました。
その後、「除雪作業のため出発は1時間遅延」のアナウンスがありました。
「欠航にならなければ何時間遅れてもいい」という心境でした。
窓の外では真っ白になった滑走路を多くの重機が走り回り、除雪をしてくださっていました。
そのお陰で搭乗する事ができました。
幸い、除雪作業中は雪は止んでいました。
一路新千歳へ
When I returned to the city of Toyama and around 11am, the sunny weather suddenly turned to snow.
After this, I was planning to go to New Chitose on NH1181, but I was getting anxious.
When I at the airport, I was able to check in, so I was a little relieved that I could leave.
It was snowing continuously, but the 11:45 flight departed for Tokyo almost on time.
There was also an announcement that boarding would start at 11:54 on my flight.
I thought that the flight might be canceled due to the arrival of a big cold wave, but I thought that I was lucky that it would go so well as planned.
However, just a few minutes later, there was an announcement that the departure time was undecided due to snow on the runway.
I began to feel anxious again.
After that, there was an announcement that the departure was delayed by 1hour due to snow removal.
As long as the flight is not cancelled, it doesn’t matter how many hours it is delayed, I thought.
Outside the window, a lot of heavy machineries were running around the snow-white runway, for cleaning snow.
Thanks to that, I was able to board.
Fortunately, the snow had stopped during the snow removal.
